Water-based lubes are your best option.
These are user friendly (Non greasy, warm up quickly, easy to apply, can be flavoured)
and dildo friendly (won't corrode or re-act with the material your dildo is made of).
Note it is best to not use the flavoured ones internally as you may end up with a yeast
infection due to the sugar content.
Lubes come in various thicknesses - use a thick one for anal play, it will last longer. Best ones we found were Astroglide, Probe, ForPlay, I-D and Wet. Petroleum based lubes should not be used with Latex toys, will stain clothing and bedding. Most well known petroleum based lubes are Vaseline, K-Y Jelly and Baby Oil. Silicone based lubes are great for underwater play but should not be used with silicone toys. No water or petroleum based lubes should be used when using an electro stimulator, they breakdown too quickly - we recommend Olive oil. |
