OILS - vary in viscosity, heat up quickly, spread copiously and can stain clothing and bedding. Most common oil used in Baby Oil as this is both user
and toy friendly. Olive oil is used as a lubricant for erotic electro stimulators as is does not breakdown rapidly. Use massage oils for massage only unless
approved for intimate use. Do not use an oil with a latex toy.
Gels - as a rule are water-based or silicone based. They are slightly thinner than lubes but thicker then oils. Usually unscented and clear in color they
do not stain and are fine for use with most materials. Silicone based gels are great for underwater play. Never use a silicone based gels or lubes on silicone toys.
Lubes - water-based lubes are your best option. They are user friendly - non greasy, warm up quickly, easy to apply and dildo friendly.
Flavoured lubes are avaialble, however, be aware that use of flavoured ones internally may result in a yeast infection due to the sugar content.
Lubes come in various thicknesses - use a thick one for anal play, it will last longer. Petroleum based lubes (Vaseline, K-Y Jelly, Baby Oil) should not be used with Latex toys.
